Ingredients
2 tbsp vegetable oil (or butter)
80g popcorn kernels
1 tbsp sugar (granulated or brown sugar)
1/4 tsp sea salt (or to taste)

The Method
Set the CleverPot to HIGH add the oil, and let it heat for about 2 minutes.
Test by dropping in one kernel—if it pops, it’s ready!
Add the popcorn kernels to the pot, stirring to coat them in the oil
Cover the pot with the lid, leaving a small gap for steam to escape. Shake the pot gently every few seconds to prevent burning.
When the popping slows (2-3 seconds between pops), turn off the pot.
Immediately transfer the popcorn to a large bowl.
Sprinkle the sugar and sea salt over the hot popcorn and toss to coat evenly.
If you like extra buttery richness, drizzle the melted butter over the popcorn and toss again.
