Make your own yoghurt at home for a fraction of the price of shop-bought yoghurt, it will taste much better too!
You can use the last bit of your first batch to make a second batch of yoghurt so you never need to buy more.
1 x 1L carton UHT whole milk
1 x 100g – 150g pot of natural (plain) yoghurt
Suitable for: CleverChef Multi Cooker
Please ensure all equipment is sterilised before you begin
Pour full carton of UHL whole milk into the inner pot
Add the pot of natural yoghurt and stir thoroughly
Time Adjust as required; The default YOGHURT setting (8 hours) will provide a yoghurt with mid level of consistency and sweetness. The time can be adjusted between 5 and 24 hours - a shorter amount of time will result in a more liquid but sweeter yoghurt, a longer time will deliver a firmer yoghurt with a more acidic taste.
When the programme is complete, the yoghurt is ready to be moved into a storage container and put in the fridge to chill for at least 4 hours prior to eating.
