Seafood African Pepper Soup
Try this hot and spicy seafood medley - a customer recipe by Shakarahcuisine.
8 Crab Legs
1/2 lb Prawns
1/2 lb Mussels
1 Large Tomato
1 Scotch Bonnet Pepper
1 Medium White Onion
Handful of New Jersey Potatoes
4 Corn Cobettes
2 oz Butter
4 tbsp Olive Oil
Sprigs of Chives
Sprigs of Thyme
Suitable for: CleverChef
Set the CleverChef to the saute function and add the Olive Oil and Butter to the CleverChef Inner Pot.
Chop onion and garlic and gently fry in the oil and butter.
Roughly chop your New Jersey potatoes and add to the pot, stirring intermittently.
Dice the tomatoes and scotch bonnet pepper. Once the potatoes start to golden, add the tomatoes and the pepper to the rest of the ingredients and stir vigorously.
Add the Prawns, Mussels and the corn to the pot and gently stir.
Finally add the seasoning, a small pinch of salt and pepper along with the Thyme and Chives.
Add a splash of water and close the lid before leaving to broil.
Once the Seafood looks cooked through, serve and enjoy!
