Spanish Omelette

Transport your taste buds to Spain with the classic Spanish omelette, also known as "Tortilla Española”.


2 medium eggs

1/2 onion, sliced

1-2 cooked new potatoes, sliced

Salt and freshly ground black pepper

½ tsp oil

The Method

Whisk the eggs and season then add the potatoes and stir.

Add the oil to the preheated 5 Minute CleverChef, and fry the onion slices for a couple of minutes then add the egg mixture.

Close the lid and cook for 4-5 minutes or until omelette is puffed and pulled away from edges.

Notes: Only use medium sized eggs. Make sure you don’t overfill. The measurement of ingredients are a guide. Adding Oil: Using an oil spray or brush the oil onto the plates.
