Yes, the fry basket features a non-stick coating.
What is the capacity of the fry basket?
The fry basket holds up to 4L. Depending on what you’re cooking, we advise this provides between 2-4 servings.
Is the fry basket dishwasher safe?
No, the fry basket should be cleaned with a mild detergent and non-abrasive sponge.
How do I clean the fry basket?
The fry basket and outer basket should be cleaned with hot water, a mild detergent, and a non-abrasive cloth or sponge. If there are any difficult to remove food particles, leave to soak for 10 minutes in hot, soapy water.
Can I use baking paper/parchment paper in the fry basket?
Yes, it’s save to use baking paper/parchment paper in the air fryer.
Can I put tinfoil in the fry basket?
Yes, it’s save to use tinfoil in the air fryer.
Can I put other baking tins/trays inside the fry basket?
Yes, it’s safe to use baking tins inside the fry basket.
What is the temperature range of the air fryer?
The temperature ranges from 80°C to 200°C.
Do I need to preheat?
For best results, we recommend preheating for 2-3 minutes before adding your ingredients. This is built-in automatically with the pre-set functions and the LED display will say ‘Preheat.’ When it’s time to add food, the unit will beep and display ‘Add food.’ If cooking without using a pre-set, add 2-3 minutes to your cooking time.
Does the outside of the unit get hot?
The outside of the unit will heat up during the cooking process, however the control panel and handle will remain cool to the touch.
Do I need to add oil to air fry?
No, but if cooking with fresh ingredients we advise adding 1tbsp and adjusting for personal preference to reach your desired level of crispiness.
Do I have to shake the basket while cooking?
We advise giving the basket a shake part way through cooking to ensure food is cooked and browned evenly all over. The unit will beep and display ‘Turn Food’ part way through cooking to remind you.
How do I change the temperature?
Press the Time/Temperature button once (until the temperature appears on screen). Then use the plus and minus buttons to adjust the cooking time.

Does it pause cooking when I remove the fry basket?
Yes. When you remove the fry basket the timer will pause the countdown and the fan will stop spinning. To restart, simply replace the fry basket.
How long does it take to pre-heat?
Pre-heating will take approximately 2-3 minutes, depending on temperature selected.
When do I add my food?
When the unit has pre-heated, the unit will beep and the display will read ‘Add Food.’
Why is my air fryer beeping?
The unit will beep when pre-heating is complete, when your food needs turning, and when cooking is complete.
