Can I add items part-way through my cooking cycle?

Yes, you can take the lid off for up to 3 minutes at a time to add any more ingredients and after you put the lid back on, it will carry on with the cycle as normal. If it is off for more than 3 minutes, the cycle will stop completely, and you will have to select your desired setting. Please note, this will start the process from the beginning. If you need longer than 3 minutes, make sure you put the lid back on during the 3- minute window and then remove it again.

How much soup does it cook?

The maximum capacity of the product is 1600ml, which can make up to 5 portions of soup, depending on the size of the bowl.

How long does it take to make soup?

25 minutes on the Chunky setting, and 19 minutes on the smooth setting.

Can I press the Smooth function twice in a row with the same soup in it?

No, if you would like the soup to have a smoother consistency, please use the Smooth+ function.

Can I wash the lid?

You can use the auto-clean function, however do not immerse your Soup Chef Pro in water or any other liquid

Why does my Soup Chef Pro have no power?

The lid is not fitted correctly. Refit the lid and check that the power cord is correctly fitted, and the socket is switched on.

My Soup Chef Pro stopped working during cooking, what happened?

There is likely to be too much liquid or food in the container, ensure you do not overfill your Soup Chef Pro.

Food has become stuck to the bottom of the Soup Chef Pro whilst using the Sauté function, why has that happened?

When using the saute function, always remember to use oil to avoid food sticking. To remove the food, fill the soup jug with hot soapy water and scrub clean with a plastic scouring pad, then rinse clean.

What can I use to clean my Soup Chef Pro?

You can clean it with water and soap, but please refer to the instruction manual for guidance of how to clean the product. Never immerse the lid in water or any other liquid, do not use chemicals or abrasive cleaners to clean your Soup Chef Pro.

What is the Auto Clean function?

It gently heats the water and soap you add to the jug to clean the Soup Chef Pro. You can also rinse the inside of the jug with water. Please do not submerge the Soup Chef Pro in water and please do not run the outside of the Soup Chef Pro under a tap.

Why has my Soup Chef Pro stopped working part-way through a cycle?

The Soup Chef Pro has a safety feature where it stops working if it becomes overheated. Leave it for about 30 minutes and then switch it back on.

How much produce / liquid should I use when filling the Soup Chef Pro?

Be sure to add the produce before adding the liquid and only fill to between the min and max lines. Do not add the produce to the liquid as the volume will alter and may go over the Max line.

Are the Soup Chef recipes suitable for my Soup Chef Pro?
