A light and fresh summer dessert, this recipe is even better served with a dollop of double cream.
You can experiment with vanilla instead of cinnamon, and other soft fruits like plums work really well too.
4 Nectarines, halved with stones removed
100ml orange juice
100ml white wine
35g caster sugar
1 cinnamon stick

Add the orange juice, wine, sugar and cinnamon to the inner pot. Close the lid and select the POACH function, then press START.
When the correct temperature is reached, your Clever Chef will beep to alert you. Open the lid, add the nectarines skin side down, spoon over some of the poaching liquid, then close the lid again and press START.
When the program has finished, open the lid and remove the nectarines and set aside for later.
Select the SAUTE function and adjust the time to 10 minutes, then press START. Stir occasionally until the liquid has reduced by around half, then press CANCEL. Discard the cinnamon stick and pour the liquid over the nectarines to serve.
