This wonderful coming together of Italy and Spain is a dinner party showstopper, and works best served in the middle of your dinner table so everyone can dive in.
Serve scattered with chopped parsley and lemon wedges around the side.
1 tbsp olive or cooking oil
1 onion, finely diced
280g jar roasted peppers, drained and thickly sliced
175g chorizo sausage, cut in to 1cm slices
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 tbsp smoked paprika
2 tbsp red tomato pesto
300g orzo pasta
700ml vegetable stock
125g frozen broad beans
100g frozen peas

Select the SAUTE function and press START, then add the oil and allow to heat. Add the onion, garlic, peppers and chorizo and stir regularly for ~5 minutes until the chorizo begins to brown.
Add the paprika and pesto and stir to combine for a further 1 minute. Add the orzo and stock and stir to combine then press CANCEL.
Close the lid and select the PASTA function then press START.
With 5 minutes remaining, open the lid and stir in the peas and beans then close the lid and cook until the end of the program.
