Creamy Mashed Potato (PKP 4.8L & 5.7L)
Mashed potatoes are a family favourite and are the perfect accompaniment to sausages or stews.
To make them a little healthier, try leaving the skins on to retain more of the fibre and vitamins.
800g potatoes, peeled and quartered
100ml single cream (or soured cream)
Salt and pepper (to taste)
Add the water and potatoes, then put the lid on and close the pressure valve then select the STEAM function and adjust the time to 8 minutes.
When the program has finished press CANCEL. For this recipe we recommend the QUICK RELEASE method before opening the pressure valve and removing the lid.
Drain the water saving a little for later, then mash the potatoes with the cream and butter.
