Spinach Pesto

Ingredients

40-60g fresh basil leaves

25-50g fresh spinach leaves

150ml extra virgin olive oil

50g pine nuts

1-2 small garlic cloves

50g parmesan or vegetarian hard cheese

Suitable for: Clever Chop

The Method

Add the ingredients to the Clever Chop - basil, spinach, olive oil, pine nuts, garlic, and Parmesan.

Pulse in short bursts until everything is finely blended and reaches your preferred texture, scraping down the sides if needed.

If the mixture feels too thick, add a little extra olive oil or a splash of water and pulse again.

Leave it in the Clever Chop bowl — it keeps perfectly fresh under the airtight lid for up to 5 days in the fridge.

Serve with cooked pasta and warm gently until everything is coated and heated through.
