Italian Sausage Gnocchi (PKP 4.8L & 5.7L)
This gnocchi recipe is so comforting and tasty, and cooks in under 10 minutes!
Serve with shredded fresh basil and grated parmesan sprinkled over the top.
1 tbsp olive or cooking oil
1 onion, sliced
2 garlic cloves, crushed
400g sausage meat
1 tsp chilli flakes
2 tsp Italian herbs
250g chicken stock
1 x 400g can chopped tomatoes
Salt and pepper (to taste)
Select the SAUTE function, add the oil and allow to heat. Add the onion and garlic and stir regularly for about 3 minutes until the onion begins to soften.
Add the sausage and stir to combine. Continue to cook for a further 2 minutes, then press CANCEL.
Add the rest of the ingredients apart from the gnocchi and stir to combine.
Place the gnocchi on top without stirring it in.
Put the lid on and close the pressure valve then select the STEAM function and adjust the time to 3 minutes.
When the program has finished press CANCEL. For this recipe we recommend the QUICK RELEASE method before opening the pressure valve and removing the lid.
Give your gnocchi a good stir and season to taste before serving.
