Soy Milk

Creating homemade soy milk is a rewarding and eco-friendly alternative to store-bought options, and it's surprisingly easy to make with just soybeans and water, but also allows you to control the ingredients and flavour to suit your preferences.

Ingredients

100g dried soybeans

1300ml water

Optional Extras

½ tsp vanilla extract

1-2 whole dates, pitted

Suitable for: Digital Soup Maker

The Method

Pre soak the soy beans in water for 6-8 hours or overnight.

Drain the soybeans. Place the soybeans and water and into your Soup Maker and slot the lid back onto the top of the soup jug.

Press the MODE button on the top of your Soup Makers lid to select SOY MILK.

Strain the blended mixture using a nut milk bag, a cheesecloth, a napkin or a fine mesh strainer.

Note – This function heats the soybeans and water.
