Ingredients
2 rib-eye or sirloin thick-cut steaks
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt & Pepper
Your favourite steak rub, to taste (optional)
2 knobs of butter (optional)

The Method
Light up your Adora Pizza Oven according to the instructions and allow it to heat up to cooking temperature (around 350°C). You can easily check the temperature with the handy thermometer on the door.
While the oven is heating up, use the removable handle to safely place your Adoro griddle pan in the oven to warm up.
Prepare your steaks which should be at room temperature. Season with salt and pepper both sides of the steak (and steak rub if your using), and then rub them with oil.
Carefully remove the hot griddle pan using the removable handle, place it on the heatproof wood mat, and add the steaks, then return to griddle pan to the oven. As a rough guide cook for 4 minutes for rare, 5-6 minutes for medium and 8-10 mins for well done.
Turn the steaks half way through. Add a knob of butter to each steak if using and return to the oven for another 2 minutes
Remove the steak from the oven and allow it to rest for a few minutes before serving.
