Cauliflower Cheese (PKP 4.8L & 5.7L)
Cauliflower cheese is a comforting side to your Sunday roast, and is made simple in the PKP.
50g plain flour
100g cheese, grated
1 cauliflower, cut in to florets
Salt and pepper (to taste)
Select the SAUTE function, add the butter and allow to melt. Sieve the flour in and combine with the butter until a thick paste is formed, then press CANCEL.
Gradually add the milk and whisk continuously for about 2 minutes until you have a runny white sauce.
Select the SAUTE function and stir in the cheese until melted, then add the cauliflower and stir to combine then press CANCEL.
Put the lid on and close the pressure valve then select the STEW/SOUP function and adjust the time to 5 minutes.
When the program has finished press CANCEL. For this recipe we recommend the QUICK RELEASE method before opening the pressure valve and removing the lid.
