Ingredients
280g good-quality steak (ribeye sirloin, or rump)
Salt
Black pepper
¼ small red cabbage, chopped into chunks
½ red onion, peeled and quartered
1-2 tsp American mustard
2-3 tbsp mayonnaise
Salt and pepper, to taste

The Method
Trim off any sinew or tough bits, but keep the fat and cut into chunks.
Add the steak pieces to the Clever Chop.
Pulse in short bursts until you have a mince.
Tip into a bowl and season generously with salt and freshly cracked black pepper.
Heat a pan or griddle over medium-high heat with a touch of oil.
Cook the burgers for 3-4 minutes each side.
Rest for 1 minute before serving to keep them juicy.
Add the cabbage, carrot and red onion to your Clever Chop.
Pulse until finely chopped to your liking.
Add the mayo, mustard, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Give it one last pulse to mix everything together.
Serve straight away for a fresh, tangy slaw that’s perfect with burgers, wraps or grilled meats!
