Chicken Nuggets

Ingredients

Chicken Mixture (Bowl 1):

400g chicken breast or thigh, cut into chunks

2-3 tbsp, plain flour (optional, helps bind)

Breadcrumbs (Bowl 2):

70-90g plain breadcrumbs (or bread slices to pulse in Clever Chop)

Flour & Egg Wash:

50g plain flour

1 samll egg, beaten

Suitable for: Clever Chop

The Method

Place chicken chunks (and flour if using) into the Clever Chop bowl 1.

Pulse in short bursts until roughly chopped and sticky — not a smooth paste.

Tear bread slices (or use plain breadcrumbs) and place in Clever Chop bowl 2.

Pulse until fine but not powdery.

Scoop spoonfuls of chicken mixture and form small nuggets (~2–3cm thick).

Flour: Lightly dust each nugget in plain flour.

Egg wash: Dip floured nuggets into the beaten egg.

Breadcrumbs: Roll each nugget in the freshly made breadcrumbs until evenly coated.

Preheat oven to 200°C / 180°C fan.

Place nuggets on a lined baking tray and lightly brush or spray with oil.

Bake 12–15 mins, turning halfway through, until golden and cooked through.
